“Nordic Children's Literature & UN Development Goals" is a short term network between the cultural institutions of the three sister cities Kópavogur (IS), Odense (DK) and Tampere (FI). The goal to exchange knowledge between institution officials, artists and educators, and gather the input of Nordic children to develop an international 3-year-program that uses Nordic children's literature to teach humanitarian ideas and Nordic values, aligned with the UN Development Goals and Agenda 2030.

“Nordic Children's Literature & UN Development Goals” is a joint Nordic project bringing together the strengths and experiences of three sister cities in combination with an integrated program involving children from various Nordic countries. The project aims to bring together these varied perspectives with a strong focus on the implementation of the UN Development Goals and Agenda 2030 and shared Nordic values of diversity, creativity and innovation. The outcome of this multinational development phase is a 3-year cultural collaboration that can travel the world.

The 3-year program will include an extended list of partners, collaborators and contributors and include a children's curatorial panel, workshops, knowledge transfers, public events, exhibitions, concerts and more.
